In the context of a study the following goals for a new development of a 10 speed rear derailleur were considered:
- Approx. weight: 0.22 lb
- Optimization of the switching accuracy
- Aerodynamic shaping due to “careened“ technology.
A serial production is at present not concretely planned and depends among other things on the possibility of economic production.
